on wednesday the 22nd i finished reading unnatural creatures, a collection of short stories selected by neil gaiman. i had a lot of fun with it! my favorite story was the cartographer wasps and the anarchist bees by E. lily yu. i rated unnatural creatures overall 4/5 stars. i got my copy in oregon at a little powell's airport kiosk in summer of 2019, while on my way to a wedding. :-)
late post this week, but in my defense it's nearly christmas AND i haven't even officially started this challenge yet, so i think it's OK. before the end of the year i'd like to finish reading american gods and pirate cinema. american gods i've gotten back into the groove of, but pirate cinema i haven't touched in a while.
(i've also kicked catch-22 off of my currently reading, since i wasn't very far in.)
